Ann Arbor SPARK Graduates 26 from Inaugural Shifting Code

Ann Arbor SPARK’s first Shifting Code cohort will graduate from the program on Wednesday, May 16, in a ceremony at SPARK Central. The 26 graduates successfully completed the Shifting Code program, a program designed and administered by Ann Arbor SPARK and funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to meet regional demand for software developers. more

Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund Invests $2 million in Nine Start-Ups

Nine Michigan companies recently received investments from the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund, totaling more than $2 million. To date, the Michigan Pre-Seed Capital Fund, a collaborative effort of Michigan’s SmartZones, has awarded 72 Michigan companies with seed funding totaling more than $16 million. more

STEL Technologies and Warmilu Awarded Best of Ann Arbor SPARK Boot Camp

At the conclusion of Ann Arbor SPARK’s 20th Entrepreneur Boot Camp, STEL Technologies was awarded Best of Boot Camp and Warmilu, LLC was awarded Boot Camp’s Best Pitch. Twelve Companies Receive Michigan Microloan Fund Program Award

Twelve Michigan companies have received a combined total of more than $444,000 through the Michigan Microloan Fund Program, bringing the total amount loaned through the Fund to more than $2.4 million. The companies received the funding to support commercialization of their core products. more
