The Ann Arbor region is rich in opportunity for higher education. With four universities and a community college, we are graduating thousands of talented individuals each year.

University of Michigan

University of Michigan is synonymous with Ann Arbor, and is one of America's great public universities. Academically, the U-M ranks among the world's top universities and its graduate and professional programs consistently rank within the nation's top ten. The University of Michigan has made a $900 million commitment to new life sciences facilities and programs. U-M is also one of the world's premiere research institutions with over $1 billion in research funding in 2009. Thanks in large part to the U-M, the region is home to several federal research labs.

Eastern Michigan University

Eastern Michigan University graduates thousands of technologically-prepared students annually in every field of study, from education to business to engineering technology to computer science. EMU also provides customized educational seminars for over 7,500 local area employees each year at the Corporate Education Center. With an enrollment of approximately 23,000, EMU is the fifth largest university in Michigan.

Washtenaw Community College

For over 40 years, WCC’s open-door admissions policy, affordable tuition rates, and high-quality classes have attracted students from local communities and around the world. More than 18,000 register for credit classes each year, and thousands more enroll in non-credit LifeLong Learning classes. WCC’s diverse student body includes more than 1,000 students from over 100 foreign countries. WCC’s small classes allow for lots of individual attention. The average class size is 22 students. That’s a fraction of the size of many basic classes at four-year colleges and universities. WCC also emphasizes convenience. It offers classes seven days a week, at night, and online. And transferring is easy because WCC has agreements with four-year schools throughout Michigan.

Concordia University

Concordia University is a private, liberal arts university in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
