BBCetc will introduce federal funding through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

During this introductory seminar, we will outline the basics of the SBIR/STTR program, eligibility issues, and detail some of the differences between the programs offered by the eleven participating federal agencies (including the National Institutes of Healt, Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, and Department of Energy.) We will also discuss how to look for specific funding opportunities.

This course is targeted to a broad audience that is still exploring the SBIR/STTR program. It is designed to provide enough information for attendees to determine if they would like to seriously pursue proposal development.
