Description:

We've got an extra awesome meetup schedule for this month!  Alex Leverington, formerly part of the core Ethereum team that built the C++ client, will be presenting Golem, a global, open sourced, decentralized supercomputer.  He's arranged travel plans from Ethereum Central in Zurich, Switzerland so please come out and join us for a very interest evening talking about Ethereum, Golem and the future.

And, if that's not enough, we're also being hosted by TD Ameritrade who has been kind enough to share their space with us and to provide food and drink.  This should be our best meetup yet!

Golem: Building a decentralized market on Ethereum

Brief overview of Golem. Highlight current and future expectations for developing applications, tokens and markets on Ethereum and briefly discuss standards and risk of presumed diligence.

About Alex Leverington

Alex has been involved with Ethereum from a very early stage, initially contributing to the C++ client in early 2014. After Ethereum was founded Alex worked at ETHDEV in Berlin architecting and implementing devp2p, Ethereum's underlying p2p protocol layer. Alex has been involved with many aspects of Ethereum development and made key contributions in encryption and security areas of the various communications protocols and remains active in the protocol steering group. In early 2016 Alex began working with the Golem project as an ideal use-case for the development of p2p protocols and applications which leverage Ethereum functionality.
