As cars become more connected and autonomous, cybersecurity has become a critical part of the automotive dev process. Some car hacks have become pretty infamous, like the "Great Jeep Cherokee Hack of 2015", but plenty more have been under the radar.

We'll hear from three people that are doing automotive cybersecurity in Ann Arbor and the ways your car could be secured in the future:

• Sam Savant, TwoScoreTwo on the case for Blockchains in IoT - Data Security, Permissioned Access, Device Control - highlighting scenarios where Blockchains can augment or replace existing procedures, also talk about new customer facing capabilities that result from using Blockchains.

• André Weimerskirch, VP Global Cyber Security at Lear

• Ami Dotan, CEO & Co-Founder, Karamba Security on cutting cybersecurity-related recalls, by sealing ECUs according to factory settings in vehicles.

Thanks to Duo Security for hosting, and thanks to Butzel Long for covering the pizza!
